Students condense filmmaking into 48 hours

 

 

 

 

 

 

The 48 hour film project is an event where participants are required to write, produce, edit and submit a four to seven minute film in 48 hours. This mock version, hosted by the Movie Camera Militia, is the first SIUC has ever seen. A total of over 25 students separated into three teams participated. Each team drew a genre at random to center their film around, and then had to incorporate three components: a beach ball, a character named Alex or Alexis that was a ballroom dancer, and the line “I’ve never had this happen before.”
